In the distance I see a massive double door.

It's key-hole shaped, due to the pillars that stand like sentinels at each side, holding up the ends of an ornate arch to complete the fascia. The doors themselves, bronzed and carefully sculpted with incredulous detail. Drawing near, I can appreciate the areas that remain bare to reveal the fossilized wood that lies beneath. On each, and nearly twice my size are intricate carvings of the Soul Reaver, its prominent vampire skull feels as if it is glaring down upon me in judgement. The tip of the undulating serpentine blade piercing downward, nearly kissing the foot of the threshold. At the door's center is what seems to be a blazing starburst, radiating with a powerful energy. Its very core, hollow, yet hypnotically inviting. I slowly extend my hand out to it as it lures me in, nearly touching, I feel my fingertips grow painfully numb as if the door were pulling all of my heat... no, all of the essence of my being.
